Maharashtra election Result Live Update: As the vote-counting process is still going on, the election commission has figured out that the INDIA bloc is ahead in 28 seats. Whereas, the NDA is leading on 19 seats only. Previously, Exit polls were also held on 1st June 2024 that predicted 22 seats to 35 seats to the Mahayuti in Maharashtra and 15 seats to 26 seats won by the MVA. Currently, INDIA has won 29 seats where Congress won 11 seats, Uddhav Thackeray (Shiv Sena) won 10 seats and Sharad Pawar (NCP) won 8 seats. The NDA has 18 leading seats where BJP won 11 seats Eknath Shinde (Shiv Sena) won 6 seats and Ajit Pawar (NCP) won 1 seat only. Also, an independent candidate is holding 1 seat.

According to the latest updates of the vote-counting process, there is strong competition between the Shiv Sena and the Congress party. The Bhartiya Janta Party was Contested in 28 constituencies along with the association of Shiv Sena (Shinde) in 14 seats and Ajit Pawar (NCP) in 5 seats. On the other hand, Shiv Sena member Maha Vikaas (UBT) is battling for 21 constituencies, congress for 17 constituencies, and NCP for 10 continuances.
